Selling your Investment Property in 2023.

Ready to hit the ground running in 2023 by selling your investment property?

This year, we can expect to see the greater Brisbane property market begin to stabilise after an intense 2022. Despite fears that the market will see significant drops in the coming months – research actually shows that demand will remain incredibly strong in outer-ring and inner-city suburbs as interstate migration booms and infrastructure projects continue in preparation for the Olympics.

With that being said, we can imagine that a few questions might be coming to mind. We’re here to answer them!

How do I Know if It’s Time?

When in doubt, look to the numbers! Take the time to research local property performance and see how prices are forecasted for the remainder of the year.

If prices are dropping in your area, we suggest one of two strategies – selling your property sooner rather than later; or perhaps taking some time out to allow demand to increase.

Want to know more? There’s a lot of conflicting data out there, and it can be difficult to find a source that you can trust. We recommend you consult the professionals for expert advice and guidance (that’s where we come in!).

In the meantime, check out our recent blog post on some of the factors to watch for in the market when you’re looking to sell.

Am I in the Right Place to Sell?

2023 may be forecasted to be a year of transition for the wider Brisbane property market, but one thing that we are confident in, is that prices in suburbs located close to the CBD are to remain in strong demand. Fundamental driving factors will maintain the balance of supply and demand in these areas – namely the liveable Ascot and Hamilton.

Industry Insiders are suggesting that newly-built modern homes will remain at peak popularity amongst buyers, particularly if they are located in areas dominated by older Queenslanders. Furthermore, as the construction industry stabilises following a costly 2022, desire for Renovator houses are also set to return – especially in those highly sought-after neighbourhoods.
